Print πρῶτον with high confidence. It has early and broad support, and all editions agree. B and G are the main witnesses against it.

Minuscules are Gregory–Aland numbers, with Tischendorf's Pauline number once in parentheses ("Tisch."); * = first hand, superscript ᶜ (stored as c, e.g. Dc) = a later corrector; full key in src.tischendorf-8. Tischendorf names mainly dissenting witnesses, so some majuscules on the other side are inferred from his silence.

All print πρῶτον. Lachmann bracketed it (as Tischendorf reports).

Manuscripts (Tischendorf 8, vol. 2 (1872), p. 366): πρῶτον: ℵ A C D E K L P and apparently all others, the Latin d e vg, both Syriac versions, the Coptic, Armenian and Ethiopic, Origen (Rufinus: the Jews are rightly placed "even before the Greeks"), Eusebius, Didymus, Chrysostom. Omitted: B G g, and Tertullian, Marc. 5.13, which cites Marcion's text. Tischendorf's "cop" is the Bohairic; modern apparatuses (by reference, not checked) add the Sahidic to the omission.

Internal: πρῶτον is Pauline (2:9–10, the same phrase twice). It may have been dropped because it seemed to qualify the equality of Jew and Greek (3:22; 10:12). Whether the omission in Tertullian's citation reflects Marcion's editing is unclear.
