Rom 8:36: Ps 44:22 (MT 44:23; LXX 43:23)
Says Ps 44:22 (MT 44:23) reads כִּי־עָלֶיךָ הֹרַגְנוּ כָל־הַיּוֹם נֶחְשַׁבְנוּ כְּצֹאן טִבְחָה (ki-'aleykha horagnu khol-hayyom nekhshavnu ketso'n tivkhah, "Yet for Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered," BSB).
Says Swete's Ps 43:23 has ὅτι ἕνεκα σοῦ θανατούμεθα ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν, ἐλογίσθημεν ὡς πρόβατα σφαγῆς. Its apparatus gives the spelling Paul uses, Ἕνεκεν, for ἕνεκα in ℵ, A, and T.
Says Rom 8:36 introduces the psalm with καθὼς γέγραπται ὅτι. Whether that ὅτι is recitative or the psalm's own, the words that follow, Ἕνεκεν σοῦ θανατούμεθα ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν, ἐλογίσθημεν ὡς πρόβατα σφαγῆς, are the LXX word for word, with Ἕνεκεν as in ℵ, A, and T.
