Deut 32:43 minor variants and the 32:5 box line
Says Minor variants in 32:43: MT דַם־עֲבָדָיו (dam-'avadav, "the blood of his servants," literal), LXX τὸ αἷμα τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ ("the blood of his sons"), Onqelos פֻּרְעֲנוּת עַבְדוֹהִי צַדִיקַיָא ("the retribution of his righteous servants"). The BSB's "children" follows the Greek.
Says In 32:43 the LXX also has καὶ τοῖς μισοῦσιν ἀνταποδώσει ("and he will repay those who hate," with no object pronoun), which the MT lacks here; MT 32:41 has a similar first-person line (וְלִמְשַׂנְאַי אֲשַׁלֵּם, "and I will repay those who hate me"). The BSB includes it ("repay those who hate Him").
Says In 32:5 the MT שִׁחֵת לוֹ לֹא בָּנָיו מוּמָם (shikhet lo lo banav mumam) is difficult. The LXX ἡμάρτοσαν, οὐκ αὐτῷ τέκνα, μωμητά ("they sinned, not his, blemished children") and Onqelos חַבִּילוּ לְהוֹן לָא לֵהּ בְּנַיָא ("they corrupted themselves, not him, the children") both follow the same Hebrew words, construed differently, so no different Hebrew text is shown and no var record is made.
Box: Swete's Odes 2:43 (vol. 3 p. 817, page-checked) has the same eight lines with "angels" and "sons" exchanged (πάντες οἱ ἄγγελοι θεοῦ in the "worship" line). The Odes also read ἐκδικεῖται (as A; F ἐκζητεῖται) for ἐκδικᾶται and add δίκην after ἀνταποδώσει. These are Greek forms with no separate Hebrew evidence; see note.cross-reference.Deut.32.43.odes-2-43-form.
