בְּצֵ֣את יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם בֵּ֥ית יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב מֵעַ֥ם לֹעֵֽז׃
2Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel His dominion. (LXX 113:2; Rahlfs 113:2)
הָיְתָ֣ה יְהוּדָ֣ה לְקָדְשׁ֑וֹ יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל מַמְשְׁלוֹתָֽיו׃
3The sea observed and fled; the Jordan turned back; (LXX 113:3; Rahlfs 113:3)
הַיָּ֣ם רָ֭אָה וַיָּנֹ֑ס הַ֝יַּרְדֵּ֗ן יִסֹּ֥ב לְאָחֽוֹר׃
4the mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs. (LXX 113:4; Rahlfs 113:4)
הֶֽ֭הָרִים רָקְד֣וּ כְאֵילִ֑ים גְּ֝בָע֗וֹת כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאן׃
5Why was it, O sea, that you fled, O Jordan, that you turned back, (LXX 113:5; Rahlfs 113:5)
מַה־לְּךָ֣ הַ֭יָּם כִּ֣י תָנ֑וּס הַ֝יַּרְדֵּ֗ן תִּסֹּ֥ב לְאָחֽוֹר׃
