For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? (MT 13:2; LXX 12:1; LXX 12:2; Rahlfs 12:1; Rahlfs 12:2)
2How long must I wrestle in my soul, with sorrow in my heart each day? How long will my enemy dominate me? (MT 13:3; LXX 12:3; Rahlfs 12:3)
3Consider me and respond, O Lord my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death, (MT 13:4; LXX 12:4; Rahlfs 12:4)
4lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes rejoice when I fall. (MT 13:5; LXX 12:5; Rahlfs 12:5)
5But I have trusted in Your loving devotion; my heart will rejoice in Your salvation. (MT 13:6; LXX 12:6; Rahlfs 12:6)
6I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me. (LXX 12:6; Rahlfs 12:6)
