Ps 146

HHallelujah! Praise the Lord, O my soul. (LXX 145:1; Rahlfs 145:1) הַֽלְלוּ־יָ֡הּ הַלְלִ֥י נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃ 2I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (LXX 145:2; Rahlfs 145:2) אֲהַלְלָ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה בְּחַיָּ֑י אֲזַמְּרָ֖ה לֵֽאלֹהַ֣י בְּעוֹדִֽי׃ 3Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save. (LXX 145:3; Rahlfs 145:3) אַל־תִּבְטְח֥וּ בִנְדִיבִ֑ים בְּבֶן־אָדָ֓ם ׀ שֶׁ֤אֵֽין ל֥וֹ תְשׁוּעָֽה׃ 4When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground; on that very day his plans perish. (LXX 145:4; Rahlfs 145:4) תֵּצֵ֣א ר֭וּחוֹ יָשֻׁ֣ב לְאַדְמָת֑וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַ֝ה֗וּא אָבְד֥וּ עֶשְׁתֹּנֹתָֽיו׃ 5Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, (LXX 145:5; Rahlfs 145:5) אַשְׁרֵ֗י שֶׁ֤אֵ֣ל יַעֲקֹ֣ב בְּעֶזְר֑וֹ שִׂ֝בְר֗וֹ עַל־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ 6the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He remains faithful forever. (LXX 145:6; Rahlfs 145:6) עֹשֶׂ֤ה ׀ שָׁ֘מַ֤יִם וָאָ֗רֶץ אֶת־הַיָּ֥ם וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֑ם הַשֹּׁמֵ֖ר אֱמֶ֣ת לְעוֹלָֽם׃ 7He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free, (LXX 145:7; Rahlfs 145:7) עֹשֶׂ֤ה מִשְׁפָּ֨ט ׀ לָעֲשׁוּקִ֗ים נֹתֵ֣ן לֶ֭חֶם לָרְעֵבִ֑ים יְ֝הוָ֗ה מַתִּ֥יר אֲסוּרִֽים׃ 8the Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord lifts those who are weighed down, the Lord loves the righteous. (LXX 145:8; Rahlfs 145:8) יְהוָ֤ה ׀ פֹּ֘קֵ֤חַ עִוְרִ֗ים יְ֭הוָה זֹקֵ֣ף כְּפוּפִ֑ים יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֹהֵ֥ב צַדִּיקִֽים׃ 9The Lord protects foreigners; He sustains the fatherless and the widow, but the ways of the wicked He frustrates. (LXX 145:9; Rahlfs 145:9) יְהוָ֤ה ׀ שֹׁ֘מֵ֤ר אֶת־גֵּרִ֗ים יָת֣וֹם וְאַלְמָנָ֣ה יְעוֹדֵ֑ד וְדֶ֖רֶךְ רְשָׁעִ֣ים יְעַוֵּֽת׃ 10The Lord reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Hallelujah! (LXX 145:10; Rahlfs 145:10) יִמְלֹ֤ךְ יְהוָ֨ה ׀ לְעוֹלָ֗ם אֱלֹהַ֣יִךְ צִ֭יּוֹן לְדֹ֥ר וָדֹ֗ר הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃
