לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃
2You have granted his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah (MT 21:3; LXX 20:3; Rahlfs 20:3)
יְֽהוָ֗ה בְּעָזְּךָ֥ יִשְׂמַח־מֶ֑לֶךְ וּ֝בִישׁ֥וּעָתְךָ֗ מַה־יגיל מְאֹֽד׃
3For You welcomed him with rich blessings; You placed on his head a crown of pure gold. (MT 21:4; LXX 20:4; Rahlfs 20:4)
תַּאֲוַ֣ת לִ֭בּוֹ נָתַ֣תָּה לּ֑וֹ וַאֲרֶ֥שֶׁת שְׂ֝פָתָ֗יו בַּל־מָנַ֥עְתָּ סֶּֽלָה׃
4He asked You for life, and You granted it—length of days, forever and ever. (MT 21:5; LXX 20:5; Rahlfs 20:5)
כִּֽי־תְ֭קַדְּמֶנּוּ בִּרְכ֣וֹת ט֑וֹב תָּשִׁ֥ית לְ֝רֹאשׁ֗וֹ עֲטֶ֣רֶת פָּֽז׃
5Great is his glory in Your salvation; You bestow on him splendor and majesty. (MT 21:6; LXX 20:6; Rahlfs 20:6)
חַיִּ֤ים ׀ שָׁאַ֣ל מִ֭מְּךָ נָתַ֣תָּה לּ֑וֹ אֹ֥רֶךְ יָ֝מִ֗ים עוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃
6For You grant him blessings forever; You cheer him with joy in Your presence. (MT 21:7; LXX 20:7; Rahlfs 20:7)
גָּד֣וֹל כְּ֭בוֹדוֹ בִּישׁוּעָתֶ֑ךָ ה֥וֹד וְ֝הָדָר תְּשַׁוֶּ֥ה עָלָֽיו׃
7For the king trusts in the Lord; through the loving devotion of the Most High, he will not be shaken. (MT 21:8; LXX 20:8; Rahlfs 20:8)
כִּֽי־תְשִׁיתֵ֣הוּ בְרָכ֣וֹת לָעַ֑ד תְּחַדֵּ֥הוּ בְ֝שִׂמְחָ֗ה אֶת־פָּנֶֽיךָ׃
8Your hand will apprehend all Your enemies; Your right hand will seize those who hate You. (MT 21:9; LXX 20:9; Rahlfs 20:9)
כִּֽי־הַ֭מֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה וּבְחֶ֥סֶד עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן בַּל־יִמּֽוֹט׃
9You will place them in a fiery furnace at the time of Your appearing. In His wrath the Lord will engulf them, and the fire will consume them. (MT 21:10; LXX 20:10; Rahlfs 20:10)
תִּמְצָ֣א יָ֭דְךָ לְכָל־אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ יְ֝מִֽינְךָ תִּמְצָ֥א שֹׂנְאֶֽיךָ׃
10You will wipe their descendants from the earth, and their offspring from the sons of men. (MT 21:11; LXX 20:11; Rahlfs 20:11)
תְּשִׁיתֵ֤מוֹ ׀ כְּתַנּ֥וּר אֵשׁ֮ לְעֵ֪ת פָּ֫נֶ֥יךָ יְ֭הוָה בְּאַפּ֣וֹ יְבַלְּעֵ֑ם וְֽתֹאכְלֵ֥ם אֵֽשׁ׃
11Though they intend You harm, the schemes they devise will not prevail. (MT 21:12; LXX 20:12; Rahlfs 20:12)
פִּ֭רְיָמוֹ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תְּאַבֵּ֑ד וְ֝זַרְעָ֗ם מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃
12For You will put them to flight when Your bow is trained upon them. (MT 21:13; LXX 20:13; Rahlfs 20:13)
כִּי־נָט֣וּ עָלֶ֣יךָ רָעָ֑ה חָֽשְׁב֥וּ מְ֝זִמָּ֗ה בַּל־יוּכָֽלוּ׃
13Be exalted, O Lord, in Your strength; we will sing and praise Your power. (MT 21:14; LXX 20:14; Rahlfs 20:14)
כִּ֭י תְּשִׁיתֵ֣מוֹ שֶׁ֑כֶם בְּ֝מֵֽיתָרֶ֗יךָ תְּכוֹנֵ֥ן עַל־פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃
