לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ בִּנְגִינֹ֗ת מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃
2Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth. (MT 54:4; LXX 53:4; Rahlfs 53:4)
בְּב֣וֹא הַ֭זִּיפִים וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לְשָׁא֑וּל הֲלֹ֥א דָ֝וִ֗ד מִסְתַּתֵּ֥ר עִמָּֽנוּ׃
3For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life—men with no regard for God. Selah (MT 54:5; LXX 53:5; Rahlfs 53:5)
אֱ֭לֹהִים בְּשִׁמְךָ֣ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ֥ תְדִינֵֽנִי׃
4Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (MT 54:6; LXX 53:6; Rahlfs 53:6)
אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁמַ֣ע תְּפִלָּתִ֑י הַ֝אֲזִ֗ינָה לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽי׃
5He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them. (MT 54:7; LXX 53:7; Rahlfs 53:7)
כִּ֤י זָרִ֨ים ׀ קָ֤מוּ עָלַ֗י וְֽ֭עָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י לֹ֤א שָׂ֨מוּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לְנֶגְדָּ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
6Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good. (MT 54:8; LXX 53:8; Rahlfs 53:8)
הִנֵּ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים עֹזֵ֣ר לִ֑י אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י בְּֽסֹמְכֵ֥י נַפְשִֽׁי׃
7For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes. (MT 54:9; LXX 53:9; Rahlfs 53:9)
ישוב הָ֭רַע לְשֹׁרְרָ֑י בַּ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗ הַצְמִיתֵֽם׃
