לַ֝מְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָוִ֥ד לְהַזְכִּֽיר׃
2May those who seek my life be ashamed and confounded; may those who wish me harm be repelled and humiliated. (MT 70:3; LXX 69:3; Rahlfs 69:3)
אֱלֹהִ֥ים לְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי חֽוּשָֽׁה׃
3May those who say, “Aha, aha!” retreat because of their shame. (MT 70:4; LXX 69:4; Rahlfs 69:4)
יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ֮ מְבַקְשֵׁ֪י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יִסֹּ֣גוּ אָ֭חוֹר וְיִכָּלְמ֑וּ חֲ֝פֵצֵ֗י רָעָתִֽי׃
4May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation always say, “Let God be magnified!” (MT 70:5; LXX 69:5; Rahlfs 69:5)
יָ֭שׁוּבוּ עַל־עֵ֣קֶב בָּשְׁתָּ֑ם הָ֝אֹמְרִ֗ים הֶ֘אָ֥ח ׀ הֶאָֽח׃
5But I am poor and needy; hurry to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay. (MT 70:6; LXX 69:6; Rahlfs 69:6)
