A Psalm of Asaph. God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods: (LXX 81:1; Rahlfs 81:1)
2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah (LXX 81:2; Rahlfs 81:2)
3Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed. (LXX 81:3; Rahlfs 81:3)
4Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked. (LXX 81:4; Rahlfs 81:4)
5They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. (LXX 81:5; Rahlfs 81:5)
6I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’ (LXX 81:6; Rahlfs 81:6)
7But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.” (LXX 81:7; Rahlfs 81:7)
8Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance. (LXX 81:8; Rahlfs 81:8)
