A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High, (MT 92:2; Rahlfs 91:1; Rahlfs 91:2)
2to proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning and Your faithfulness at night (MT 92:3; Rahlfs 91:3)
3with the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre. (MT 92:4; Rahlfs 91:4)
4For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your deeds; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands. (MT 92:5; Rahlfs 91:5)
5How great are Your works, O Lord, how deep are Your thoughts! (MT 92:6; Rahlfs 91:6)
6A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand, (MT 92:7; Rahlfs 91:7)
7that though the wicked sprout like grass, and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed. (MT 92:8; Rahlfs 91:8)
8But You, O Lord, are exalted forever! (MT 92:9; Rahlfs 91:9)
9For surely Your enemies, O Lord, surely Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered. (MT 92:10; Rahlfs 91:10)
10But You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; with fine oil I have been anointed. (MT 92:11; Rahlfs 91:11)
11My eyes see the downfall of my enemies; my ears hear the wailing of my wicked foes. (MT 92:12; Rahlfs 91:12)
12The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. (MT 92:13; Rahlfs 91:13)
13Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. (MT 92:14; Rahlfs 91:14)
14In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain, (MT 92:15; Rahlfs 91:15)
15to proclaim, “The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and in Him there is no unrighteousness.” (MT 92:16; Rahlfs 91:16)
