A A fter this I looked and saw a door standing open in heaven. D-APN 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne standing in heaven, with someone seated on it.εὐθέως immediately ADV ἐγενόμην I was V-2ADI-1S ἐν in PREP πνεύματι· [the] Spirit N-DSN καὶ and CONJ ἰδοὺ behold INJ θρόνος a throne N-NSM ἔκειτο was set V-INI-3S ἐν in PREP τῷ <the> T-DSM οὐρανῷ, heaven, N-DSM καὶ and CONJ ἐπὶ upon PREP τὸν the T-ASM θρόνον throne N-ASM καθήμενος, [One] sitting. V-PNP-NSM 3 The One seated there looked like jasper and carnelian, and a rainbow that gleamed like an emerald encircled the throne.καὶ and CONJ ὁ the [One] T-NSM καθήμενος sitting V-PNP-NSM ὅμοιος like A-NSM ὁράσει in appearance N-DSF λίθῳ stone N-DSM ἰάσπιδι jasper N-DSF καὶ and CONJ σαρδίῳ, sardius N-DSN καὶ And CONJ ἶρις a rainbow N-NSF κυκλόθεν [was] around PREP τοῦ the T-GSM θρόνου throne N-GSM ὅμοιος like A-NSM ὁράσει in appearance N-DSF σμαραγδίνῳ. an emerald. A-DSM 4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and on these thrones sat twenty-four elders dressed in white, with golden crowns on their heads.καὶ And CONJ κυκλόθεν around PREP τοῦ the T-GSM θρόνου throne N-GSM θρόνοι εἴκοσι [were] twenty A-NUI τέσσαρες, four, A-NPM καὶ and CONJ ἐπὶ on PREP τοὺς the T-APM θρόνους thrones N-APM εἴκοσι twenty A-NUI τέσσαρας four A-APM πρεσβυτέρους elders N-APM καθημένους sitting, V-PNP-APM περιβεβλημένους having clothed themselves V-RMP-APM ἐν in PREP ἱματίοις garments N-DPN λευκοῖς, white, A-DPN καὶ and CONJ ἐπὶ on PREP τὰς the T-APF κεφαλὰς heads N-APF αὐτῶν of them P-GPM στεφάνους crowns N-APM χρυσοῦς. golden. A-APM 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Before the throne burned seven torches of fire. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, covered with eyes in front and back.καὶ And CONJ ἐνώπιον before PREP τοῦ the T-GSM θρόνου throne N-GSM ὡς [was something] like PRT θάλασσα a sea N-NSF ὑαλίνη of glass, A-NSF ὁμοία like A-NSF κρυστάλλῳ. as crystal, N-DSM Καὶ And CONJ ἐν in PREP μέσῳ [the] midst A-DSN τοῦ of the T-GSM θρόνου throne N-GSM καὶ and CONJ κύκλῳ around ADV τοῦ the T-GSM θρόνου throne N-GSM τέσσαρα [were] four A-NPN ζῷα living creatures N-NPN γέμοντα being full V-PAP-NPN ὀφθαλμῶν of eyes N-GPM ἔμπροσθεν in front PREP καὶ and CONJ ὄπισθεν· behind. PREP 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second like a calf, the third had a face like a man, and the fourth was like an eagle in flight.καὶ And CONJ τὸ the T-NSN ζῷον living creature N-NSN τὸ <the> T-NSN πρῶτον first A-NSN ὅμοιον [was] like A-NSN λέοντι, as a lion, N-DSM καὶ and CONJ τὸ the T-NSN δεύτερον second A-NSN ζῷον living creature N-NSN ὅμοιον like A-NSN μόσχῳ, as a calf, N-DSM καὶ and CONJ τὸ the T-NSN τρίτον third A-NSN ζῷον living creature N-NSN ἔχων he is having V-PAP-NSM τὸ the T-ASN πρόσωπον face N-ASN ὡς as PRT ἀνθρώπου, of a man, N-GSM καὶ and CONJ τὸ the T-NSN τέταρτον fourth A-NSN ζῷον living creature N-NSN ὅμοιον like A-NSN ἀετῷ as an eagle N-DSM πετομένῳ· flying. V-PNP-DSM 8 And each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around and within. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”καὶ And CONJ τὰ the T-NPN τέσσαρα four A-NPN ζῷα, living creatures, N-NPN ἓν one A-NSN καθ’ for PREP ἓν one A-ASN αὐτῶν of them P-GPN ἔχων he having V-PAP-NSM ἀνὰ respectively PREP πτέρυγας wings N-APF ἕξ, six A-NUI κυκλόθεν around PREP καὶ and CONJ ἔσωθεν within ADV γέμουσιν full V-PAI-3P ὀφθαλμῶν· of eyes N-GPM καὶ and CONJ ἀνάπαυσιν rest N-ASF οὐκ not PRT-N ἔχουσιν they have V-PAI-3P ἡμέρας by day N-GSF καὶ and CONJ νυκτὸς night N-GSF λέγοντες· saying: V-PAP-NPM Ἅγιος Holy A-NSM ἅγιος Holy A-NSM ἅγιος Holy A-NSM κύριος, Lord N-NSM-T ὁ <the> T-NSM θεός, God N-NSM-T ὁ <the> T-NSM παντοκράτωρ, Almighty, N-NSM-T ὁ who T-NSM ἦν was being V-IAI-3S καὶ and CONJ ὁ who T-NSM ὢν is being V-PAP-NSM καὶ and CONJ ὁ who T-NSM ἐρχόμενος. is coming. V-PNP-NSM 9 And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever,καὶ And CONJ ὅταν whenever CONJ δώσουσιν will give V-FAI-3P τὰ the T-NPN ζῷα living creatures N-NPN δόξαν glory N-ASF καὶ and CONJ τιμὴν honor N-ASF καὶ and CONJ εὐχαριστίαν thanksgiving N-ASF τῷ to the [One] T-DSM καθημένῳ sitting V-PNP-DSM ἐπὶ upon PREP τῷ the T-DSM θρόνῳ, throne, N-DSM τῷ who T-DSM ζῶντι is living V-PAP-DSM εἰς to PREP τοὺς the T-APM αἰῶνας ages N-APM τῶν of the T-GPM αἰώνων, ages, N-GPM 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before the One seated on the throne, and they worship Him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying:πεσοῦνται will fall V-FNI-3P οἱ the T-NPM εἴκοσι twenty A-NUI τέσσαρες four A-NPM πρεσβύτεροι elders N-NPM ἐνώπιον before PREP τοῦ the [One] T-GSM καθημένου sitting V-PNP-GSM ἐπὶ upon PREP τοῦ the T-GSM θρόνου, throne N-GSM καὶ and CONJ προσκυνήσουσιν they will worship V-FAI-3P τῷ the [One] T-DSM ζῶντι living V-PAP-DSM εἰς to PREP τοὺς the T-APM αἰῶνας ages N-APM τῶν of the T-GPM αἰώνων, ages N-GPM καὶ and CONJ βαλοῦσιν they will cast V-FAI-3P τοὺς the T-APM στεφάνους crowns N-APM αὐτῶν of them P-GPM ἐνώπιον before PREP τοῦ the T-GSM θρόνου, throne N-GSM λέγοντες· saying: V-PAP-NPM 11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things; by Your will they exist and were created.”Ἄξιος εἶ, ὁ κύριος καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν, λαβεῖν τὴν δόξαν καὶ τὴν τιμὴν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν, ὅτι σὺ ἔκτισας τὰ πάντα, καὶ διὰ τὸ θέλημά σου ἦσαν καὶ ἐκτίσθησαν.
