Team definition
A verb related to ἐγγύς (engys). A transitive use, to bring near, is noted in the Greek Old Testament. In the New Testament the intransitive use, to come near or approach, is common, with a dative or with a preposition. Of time, it is listed with ἡμέρα (hēmera, "day") at Rom 13:12 and Heb 10:25, and with other time words elsewhere. This entry does not decide what event the approaching day names.
