Team definition

Desire, longing, which can be good (Phil 1:23; 1 Thess 2:17); often desire for what is forbidden (Abbott-Smith). In Rom 7:7–8 it takes up the commandment's verb (οὐκ ἐπιθυμήσεις): "coveting" (BSB 7:7) and πᾶσαν ἐπιθυμίαν, "every kind of covetous desire" (BSB 7:8). See note.language.Rom.7.7-Rom.7.13.epithymia-exepatesen.
