συναπάγομαι synapagomai
be carried away with · accommodate oneself to
Team definition
Middle or passive of συναπάγω (synapagō), to lead away with or together. With a dative it means to be carried along with someone (Gal 2:13; 2 Pet 3:17), whether the accompanying course is good or bad depending on context. At Rom 12:16, with a dative of persons or things, it is also read as willingly accommodating oneself to them. The entry does not decide whether τοῖς ταπεινοῖς (tois tapeinois) names persons or things.
