Team definition
A verb meaning to put clothing on someone, or, in the middle, to put something on oneself and be clothed with it. It is used of ordinary clothing and, figuratively, of armor, including Rom 13:12. Rom 13:14 is listed for putting on the Lord Jesus Christ, beside Gal 3:27. The entry records the lexical construction; it does not decide what the clothing image teaches.
