κτίσις ktisis
creation · creature
Team definition
The act of creating, and what is created (Abbott-Smith; Dodson): a single creature or created thing (Rom 1:25; 8:39; Heb 4:13), and collectively the creation (Mark 16:15; Col 1:23). Abbott-Smith lists Rom 8:19–22 as "the irrational creation"; that reading is taken up in the note. See note.language.Rom.8.19-Rom.8.23.ktisis.
