Team definition

That which is said or spoken, a word; and, as distinct from ὄνομα (a single word), a saying or statement. The plural often means speech or words. Like the Hebrew word it commonly renders, it can also mean a thing or matter. In Rom 10:8 τὸ ῥῆμα τῆς πίστεως is the word of faith that is proclaimed, said to be in the mouth and in the heart. In Rom 10:17 hearing is διὰ ῥήματος. In Rom 10:18 the plural τὰ ῥήματα is the words that have gone out. The Old Testament wording is in the Hebrew notes.
