Reason (MT kept against the older Greek): the verified Hebrew witnesses lack it; the LXX has it once (colon 2), with a parallel "strengthen him" line (colon 4), and the scroll evidence is unverified here. Confidence low.

LXX (Swete, page-checked): καὶ προσκυνησάτωσαν αὐτῷ υἱοὶ θεοῦ, and later καὶ ἐνισχυσάτωσαν αὐτῷ πάντες ἄγγελοι θεοῦ; the Greek thus has both "sons of God" and "angels of God."

4QDeutq (4Q44): listed as a witness; its reading is not verified from a checked source; IAA plate reference only (IAA pl. 676, src.iaa-lldss). Published reports of its land-and-people verb disagree (ויכפר / וכפר; see var.Deut.32.43.land-people), which is why it stays unverified here. DJD XIV is the edition of record (reference-only; cited by volume, no page checked). Nothing here relies on it.

External and internal: as for the opening call. Colon 2 (προσκυνησάτωσαν … υἱοὶ θεοῦ) and colon 4 (ἐνισχυσάτωσαν … πάντες ἄγγελοι θεοῦ) are parallel lines, not identical; Swete's apparatus gives F πάντες ἄγγελοι in colon 2, and Swete's Odes 2:43 exchanges the two subjects.
