Editorial decision: print νῦν with SBLGNT, WH, and NA28. Confidence medium: early witnesses divide, and Treg with the Byzantine tradition omits. Says The verse still says they have disobeyed so that they also may receive mercy. Whether that mercy is marked "now" is Uncertain. No lean is taken here. Sigla: corrector notation as in Tischendorf (ℵc, Db,c and the like). Minuscules are Gregory–Aland numbers, with Tischendorf's Pauline number once in parentheses; those not verified are counted, not listed. Witnesses are listed only where Tischendorf names them.

The second νῦν (before ἐλεηθῶσιν) is present in SBLGNT, WH, and NA28 and absent in Treg, RP2018, and TR. The earlier νῦν in οὗτοι νῦν ἠπείθησαν is a different unit.

Manuscripts (Tischendorf 8, vol. 2 (1872), p. 428, leaf n435 (novumtestamentum02tisc)): as listed; the first also has one minuscule, the second most others. A few witnesses omit the first νῦν (76, 115, d*); some minuscules read ὕστερον for the second.

Internal: If νῦν is kept, the purpose clause places their receiving of mercy in the present; if it is omitted, the clause has no second time word.

Minor variant: 11:30 RP and TR add καί after γάρ.
