Deut 32:21 in the LXX: παραζηλώσω …
1, p. 412). The logged apparatus gives παρώργισαν for παρώξυναν in A.
Says The Greek keeps the Hebrew's measure for measure: παρεζήλωσαν … παραζηλώσω (parezēlōsan … parazēlōsō, "made jealous … will make jealous") for קִנְאוּנִי … אַקְנִיאֵם, and "not-god" against "not-nation," ἐπ’ οὐ θεῷ … ἐπ’ οὐκ ἔθνει for בְלֹא־אֵל … εἰδώλοις (eidōlois, "idols") renders הַבְלֵיהֶם (havlehem, "their worthless things").
Says ἔθνος (ethnos, "nation") stands for עָם ('am, "people") in "not a nation," and ἀσυνέτῳ (asynetō, "without understanding") for נָבָל (naval, "foolish").
Who the "no-people" are is treated in note.language.Deut.32.19-Deut.32.25.no-people. For Paul's use see note.cross-reference.Deut.32.21.rom-10-19-form.
