ἀγνοέω agnoeō
be ignorant · not know
Team definition
To be ignorant or not to know, with an accusative of the person or thing, and sometimes with ὅτι. It can also mean not to understand. In Rom 10:3 the participle ἀγνοοῦντες with the accusative states that they did not know God's righteousness. The wording itself only states lack of knowledge; a further idea of willful ignorance is not required by the verb.
